Mission Statement

Michael Godby Construction is dedicated to practicing the woodworking skills passed on by craftsmen since the beginning. Our company is committed to practicing, learning, and implementing new techniques and products as they evolve. Our goal is to provide value to our customers, while respecting our art form and trade. We strive for success in our lives by using our full potential of physical knowledge , all the while listening for cues from teachers that we meet everyday , during the execution of our projects.

These teachers are everywhere and present them selves at their own timing. They come in the form of clients, contractors, sales people, other craftsmen, apprentices sub -contractors from other trades, architects, decorators, magazines, wood , mistakes, ,books, art fairs and musems. Our attitude is one of respect and appreciation for what we've been able to learn, create, teach and pass on, only to give back, for the day we can receive again . We are motivated by the rewards of a job well executed, financial gain and positive energy.
